Girl Scout Homework

Girl Scout Homework

At many of the meetings the girls may come home with "homework".  Sometimes it will be badge work, sometimes it will be journey work.  They may have activities to do, or they may have reading.  All work that is sent home, is to be done at each girl's own speed and ability.  There is no due date for homework.  When the girls finish their homework, they can turn it in to Mrs. Rebecca's mailbox and they will earn the badge for that work.  The purpose of sending home work to do, is to offer plenty of opportunities to the girls.  Whether or not each girl chooses to take on the challenge of the opportunity, is up to each individual girl.
It is our hope that the work that is sent home offers up fun learning activities that the girls enjoy.
Plus, they have to opportunity to earn lots and lots of badges!
I can not wait to see how full we can get those uniforms by the end of the year!
