Girl Scout Families Invited...

End of the Year Celebration
Family Tree Picnic
& Fishing

Please join us on May 15
6:00 – 7:30 pm
At the Troy 4-H Grounds,
For the last Girl Scout Meeting
Of the 2011 – 2012 school year.

We will be celebrating another school year spent making the world a better place, learning about our families and how they are all special, feasting on a family tree potluck dinner and fishing!
We would love it if every Girl Scout, her parents and siblings could join us!

Each girl will need to bring a few things to help make this celebration possible.

*A family memento.
Find an object that means something special to your family, and bring it to share with your Girl Scout family.  Some ideas are: a photo of family members past or present, an object that has been handed down from another generation, or an object that belongs to a far-away family member.

* A covered dish of a prepared family recipe.
Ask your parents or grandparents about a special family recipe.  Prepare this recipe with your family and bring it to the celebration to share with your Girl Scout Family.

*Lawn Chairs
Each family member needs to bring their own lawn chair to assure enough seating for everyone.

* Fishing Poles
Everyone who wants to fish will need to bring their own fishing poles.  Hooks and bait will be provided.  Any adult fishing will need to have a Kansas fishing license.

Please R.S.V.P to Mrs. Rebecca by May 8th.
A head count will be needed for the meal.

In case of rain, meet at the Fanning Church.
