Girl Scout Sleep Over

This year's sleep over theme was World Thinking Day.
We spent time thinking about how we can reduce water and energy waste.  We discussed how various countries get their water and energy, and how they are working to reduce the waste of both.
We also ate pizza.
Lots of pizza.
We built an indoor campfire, and studied our World Thinking Day topics around it.
Then we learned how to say, Thank You, in many different languages.
We played Telephone with those languages.
It was hard to pronounce some of the languages.
But, Troop 8059 girls are good.
They got most of them right.
Later on, we ate all of those Thank You's when we made Thanks-A-Lot s'mores.
Then we made bracelets and SWAP's.
We were done with all of our projects around 11:00 pm.
The girls were starting to ask if they could go to bed.
(How often does that happen at a sleep over?!?)
So, we brushed out teeth...
and went to bed.
By 7:00 a.m. they were up and at 'em,
ready to conquer the world,
all over again!
