Last Saturday, my girls and I visited Highland's nursing home. We made our friendship circle and sang some Girl Scout songs, and made SWAPs.
SWAPs are Special Whatchmacallits Affectionately Pinned.
We made turkey SWAPs and leaf pile SWAPs. The ladies and girls worked together to make a pair for everyone. Some ladies ended up with SWAPs all over their shirts.
Not only were SWAPs made, but so were lots of smiles.
I have been told that the ladies absolutely love their SWAPs and have been wearing them every single day!
I thought that my girls would like to know that!
I was very blessed by the kindness and gentleness my girls offered up to their new friends.
I know that their new friends were blessed as well.
I have to say that, this Thanksgiving I am Thankful for my 20 little Girl Scout blessings!
